Description

In 2022, I challenged myself to interview 12 of my favorite artists, one for each month. Mckenzie was definitely on the top of my list, as she is a local Alabamian, and an incredible lyricist, and a believer in Jesus.

In this interview, we chatted about:
- her latest release "Kindness of Strangers"
- what it's like to be a part-time musician
- the challenge of not feeling cheesy or Christian enough for Christian music spaces and too Christian for secular spaces

You can check out her music on Spotify,  click here.
